Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN seeks a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care Unit. This full-time day shift role involves coordinating care, implementing care plans, and executing physician orders to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Licensed as a Compact State RN in Tennessee is required, with ALS within 6 months and BLS within 1 month of hire. A Nursing Diploma is required. Eligible for sign-on bonus up to $12,000.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure.
• ALS obtained within 6 months of hire/transfer date.
• BLS Provider obtained within 30 days of hire/transfer date.
• Licensed Compact State RN credential from Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to hire.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans; communicates patient condition to team.
• Acts as primary coordinator of disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Notes and executes physician and nursing orders.
• Assesses and coordinates discharge planning needs with healthcare team.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):
  • Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Licensed Compact State Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
