Job summary

HCA Florida Capital Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for Inpatient Rehabilitation. You will assess patients, plan care, and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered treatment and ensure high quality outcomes.

In this role you will provide autonomous clinical assessments, support family education, and participate in hospital councils and nursing initiatives to shape the future of nursing.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license is required or eligible for compact license with 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• BLS‑AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• 1 year of RN experience in Inpatient Rehab preferred.
• BSN preferred; CRRN preferred.

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Rehab RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

Requirements

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.

• BSN is preferred
• CRRN preferred
