Job summary

HCA Florida Gulf Coast Hospital is seeking an RN in Inpatient Rehab (PRN) to provide compassionate, high-quality care for adults in a patient-centered model. You will perform clinical assessments, collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, and support patient recovery through education and follow-up throughout the stay.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida RN license (or compact), with BLS-AHA certification within 30 days, and have 1 year of inpatient rehab experience.

Qualifications

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license (Compact) required.
• BLS-AHA Provider card required within 30 days of start.
• 1 year RN experience in Inpatient Rehab setting preferred.
• BSN preferred.
• CRRN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing patients and their families with support throughout their stay.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Rehab RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.

WHAT YOU WILL DO IN THIS ROLE

Requirements

• Florida RN license and/or approved multistate RN license required. Compact license holders have 60 days to obtain the Florida license after relocation.
• BLS-AHA Provider issued card required within 30 days of start
• 1 year of RN experience in Inpatient Rehab setting is preferred
• BSN is preferred
• CRRN preferred
