Job summary

HCA Florida Lake Monroe Hospital in Sanford, FL is seeking a Rehab RN to provide compassionate care to adults in a patient-centered model. You will perform autonomous clinical assessments, collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, and support patients and families throughout their stay.

The role requires a Florida RN license (multistate acceptable with relocation timeframe), 1+ year acute care RN experience, and preferred BSN with additional certifications (ACLS, BCLS) within specified

Qualifications

• Florida RN license required; multistate license acceptable with 60 days to obtain Florida license after relocation.
• 1+ years RN experience in an acute care environment preferred
• RN Diploma or Associate Degree, BSN is preferred
• NIH Stroke Scale must be obtained within 30 days of employment start
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) or BCLS Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of start
• American Heart Association ACLS Provider card required within 6 months of employment start date
• CRRN preferred

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Advocate for patients as part of the interdisciplinary team.
• Analyze the assessment data to determine the diagnosis or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes for a plan individualized to the patient and the situation.
• Act as an advocate for patient safety.
• Ensure effective care and use of time, supplies, and equipment.
• Educate patients regarding their medications, procedures and treatments, providing support to patients and families during the stay.

Job Summary And Qualifications

We are seeking a dynamic Rehab RN to join our team. We need a compassionate and reliable RN to provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adults in our patient centered care model. In this role you will be required to make clinical assessments of situations and manage treatment autonomously. You would be part of a phenomenal team that works hard to support each other while providing excellent care to our patients in a collaborative manner.
