Job summary

Abrazo Scottsdale Campus is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in an assigned unit, coordinating care planning with other disciplines and supervising staff as needed. The role emphasizes age-specific patient care and adherence to safety guidelines.

You will participate in hourly rounding, assess and plan care, and ensure orders are appropriately implemented while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. A strong focus on patient safety and outcomes is essential.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse licensed in Arizona (CPR required).
• ACLS as applicable by facility/department.
• Experience in NICU/L&D settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnoses based on assessment data.
• Set practical, population-specific outcome goals and guide patients/families.
• Individualize plan of care and implement orders with clinical judgment.
• Supervise other healthcare staff and participate in hourly rounding.
