Qualifications

• RN license in Arizona (CPR); ACLS as required by department.
• ER/ICU/Endoscopy/Tele/Cardiac Cath/L&D ACLS required on orientation.
• PALS or ENPC required or within ninety days.
• NRP required on orientation.
• Wound/Ostomy certification or training.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs on admission and ongoing.
• Determine nursing diagnoses based on assessment data.
• Set outcome goals and guide patient in achieving them.
• Individualize plan of care based on patient needs.
• Implement orders and monitor patient status.
• May serve as shift charge.
