Job summary

Abrazo West Campus, part of Tenet Healthcare, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care on an assigned unit. You will coordinate care planning with other disciplines and supervise team members as needed, delivering patient-centered bedside care per the nursing process.

The role emphasizes safety, comprehensive assessment, and collaboration to meet patient goals. Prior experience in acute care and L&D certifications are valued, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must have Nursing Degree from an accredited nursing school.
• L&D specialty: Advanced Fetal Monitoring or ability to obtain within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, spiritual, educational, cultural, safety/risk and discharge planning needs.
• Determine nursing diagnoses based on assessment.
• Set outcome goals and guide patient in achieving them.
• Individualize care plans based on patient needs.
• Implement orders and ensure appropriateness for current status.
• Support shift leadership and participate in hourly rounding.
