Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown in Nashville, TN is seeking an RN to support ICU, Stepdown, and Cardiac units on a PRN night schedule. The role focuses on coordinating multidisciplinary care, monitoring patient conditions, and ensuring orders are executed in a timely manner.

Minimum qualifications include an RN license from the Tennessee Board, a nursing diploma, ALS/BLS credentials, and ICU experience. The role emphasizes discharge planning collaboration and high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

• ALS obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date (American Heart Association or American Red Cross).
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date (AHA or Red Cross).
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing prior to hire date or job transfer date.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
