Job summary

Ascension Saint Thomas West in Nashville, TN is seeking a part-time Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Stepdown unit. The role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, coordinating multidisciplinary care, and executing physician and nursing orders.

You will participate in discharge planning with the healthcare team, delivering compassionate, patient-centered care in a fast-paced environment. Licensure and ALS/BLS requirements are included in the hiring process.

Qualifications

• Diploma from an accredited nursing school or professional licensure required at time of hire.
• Advanced Life Support within 6 Months (180 days) of hire or transfer date (AHA or ARC accepted).
• BLS Provider within 1 Month (30 days) of hire or transfer date (AHA or ARC accepted).

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire
