Job summary

Ascension St. John Owasso is seeking a PRN ICU Registered Nurse to join the Owasso, OK team on the day shift. You will implement and monitor patient care plans, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary team, and ensure orders from physicians and nurses are executed efficiently.

Qualified applicants hold an OK RN license, with ALS available within 6 months and BLS within 30 days of hire. A diploma or licensure at hire is required, with 403(b) and EAP among the benefits offered.

Qualifications

• ALS within 6 months of hire or transfer date; accepted by AHA/Red Cross.
• BLS within 1 month of hire or transfer date; accepted by AHA/Red Cross.
• RN credentialed by Oklahoma Board of Nursing before hire date or transfer date.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans.
• Monitor, record and communicate patient condition to the team.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary care as the primary point of contact.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate discharge planning with the healthcare team.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
