Job summary

Powers Health in Munster, IN is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Hybrid Endovascular team for the Hybrid OR, working days with call. This full-time role focuses on peri-operative care for neuro-endovascular, structural heart, and peripheral vascular procedures, with a strong emphasis on stroke and TAVR programs.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Indiana RN licensure.
• Current BCLS certification.
• ACLS certification or must obtain within 1 year from date of hire.
• Minimum of 1 year work experience in a procedural area preferred.

• Functions as a member of the Hybrid Endovascular team to deliver peri-operative care.
• Maintain a safe and sterile environment, assess patient health, and implement care per nursing standards.

Powers Health is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Hybrid OR to work days with call at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

The Hybrid Endovascular team delivers peri-operative care to endovascular/surgical patients, primarily neuro-endovascular, structural heart, and peripheral vascular, with a large focus on our Acute Stroke and TAVR programs.

Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:

• Functions as a member of the Hybrid Endovascular team to deliver peri-operative care.
• Must have the necessary knowledge to prepare and maintain a safe and sterile environment, assess the health needs of the patient, implement and evaluate care for the patient in a manner that supports the Standards of Nursing Care, and perform other related duties as assigned.
• Provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Indiana
• Current BCLS certification
• Current ACLS certification or must obtain ACLS certification within one (1) year from date of hire
• Minimum of one (1) year work experience in a procedural area (Cath Lab, IR, EP) preferred.
