Powers Health in Munster, IN is hiring an Interventional Rad Tech for a full-time Day shift with call in the Hybrid OR. The role focuses on neuro-endovascular, structural heart, and peripheral vascular care, with emphasis on stroke work and the Comprehensive Stroke Center designation.

The Hybrid Endovascular team delivers peri-operative care and requires ARRT certification, Indiana licensure, and IR/cardiac procedure experience to support physicians and patients effectively.

Qualifications

• ARRT certified radiologic technologist with Indiana license.
• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization and IR lab preferred.
• Knowledge of angiographic procedures and sterile technique required.
• CPR certification and arrhythmia coursework completed.

Responsibilities

• Function as a member of the Hybrid Endovascular team.
• Support neuro-endovascular, neurosurgical, structural heart and peripheral vascular patients, including stroke care.
• Assist physicians with complex vascular interventional procedures and operate radiologic equipment to professional standards.

Interventional Rad Tech Job, Full-Time Day shift plus call, Hybrid OR

Powers Health is hiring an Interventional Rad Tech for the Hybrid OR to work days with call at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

The Hybrid Endovascular team delivers peri-operative care to endovascular/surgical patients, primarily neuro-endovascular, structural heart, and peripheral vascular, with a large focus on our Acute Stroke and TAVR programs.

Interventional Rad Tech Roles and Responsibilities:

• Functions as a member of the Hybrid Endovascular team.


• Serves the neuro-endovascular, neurosurgical, structural heart, and peripheral vascular patient population. A large portion of this position is focused on the stroke patient, and hospital’s designation as a Comprehensive Stroke Center.


• Assist the physician with complex vascular interventional procedures, proficiently operate radiologic equipment while adhering to the professional standards required, and function well as member of a team.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an A.R.R.T. certified school of radiological technology. Must be ARRT registered. Must have a license to operate radiologic equipment in the State of Indiana. One year of experience in general radiography preferred.


• Experience in Cardiac Catheterization, Interventional Radiology Lab of Special Imaging preferred. Previous experience with implantable devices is preferred. Should have a working knowledge of Angiographic procedures and sterile techniques. CPR certification. Successful completion of basic arrhythmia course.
