Powers Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the IV Therapy Team for night shifts at Community Hospital in Munster, IN. Work consists of 9p-7:30a or 10:30p-7a, with every third weekend and holidays. The role involves direct patient care, IV therapy, patient safety, and documentation.

Required: nursing degree, Indiana license, CPR; BSN preferred; IV experience preferred. This is a bonus-eligible, full-time position with competitive benefits.

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Indiana nursing license required.
• BSN preferred.
• CPR certification required or maintained.

Powers Health is hiring an RN for the IV Team to work nights at Community Hospital in Munster, IN.

The IV Therapy Team is a team of specially trained nurses that visit patients throughout Community Hospital to provide various IV assistance.

Registered Nurse Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for implementing, directing, communicating and documenting the nursing process.
• Provides a safe environment for patients, visitors and associates.
• Practices in accordance with current established standards of care, the Nurse Practice Act, the Powers Health policies and procedures, and supports the mission and philosophy ofPHby providing the highest quality care.
• Provides for the well-being of the community, services the needs of all people and demonstrates the values: dignity, compassionate care, community, quality and stewardship.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current professional licensure by the State of Indiana Health Professions Bureau.
• BSN preferred.
• Obtains and maintains current certification as required in specialty areas.
• Obtains and maintains current CPR.
• IV experience preferred.
