Job summary

Ascension Via Christi Hospital in Wichita, KS is seeking a Nursing Administrator to lead the Night Shift, directing nursing and support teams to deliver high-quality care.

The role requires Kansas RN licensure and BLS certification, with a focus on coordinating patient assignments, monitoring outcomes, and advocating for patients and families. You will mentor staff and drive professional development within the unit.

• Advocate for patients and families by addressing concerns immediately and professionally, turning feedback into improved clinical experiences.
• Drive team excellence through active coaching and performance feedback, helping to shape the professional growth of the unit's clinical staff.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.
