Job summary

Ascension Via Christi St. Joseph in Wichita, KS is seeking a dedicated RN for a Night-Shift, Part-time role in Senior Behavioral Health. You’ll perform biopsychosocial assessments to capture patients’ needs and strengths, informing a personalized care strategy.

You’ll lead or co-lead group therapy sessions, participate in team conferences to shape treatment goals, and continuously evaluate real-time responses to care to adjust nursing plans.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire or transfer date required (American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted).
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing or professional licensure at time of hire.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Guide the recovery journey by performing comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments that capture the full picture of a patientâs needs and strengths to inform a personalized care strategy.
• Lead therapeutic interventions by conducting or co-leading group therapy sessions, providing patients with the essential coping tools and community support needed for healing.
• Shape personalized treatment goals by actively participating in team conferences to refine interventions that address the specific age-related and clinical needs of each patient.
• Empower patient progress by evaluating real-time responses to care and adjusting nursing plans, ensuring every intervention is purposeful and responsive to the patientâs evolving status.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
