Job summary

Ascension through Via Christi, St. Francis in Wichita, KS, seeks a full-time RN in Cardiovascular with days schedule. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $10,000. Tuition discounts and program priority are available through our academic partnership with Wichita State University.

You will implement personalized care plans, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, and lead safe execution of physician orders while planning comprehensive discharge care. BLS and KS RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire; AHA or Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed with the Kansas Board of Nursing required.
• Diploma from an accredited nursing program or equivalent licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Implement, monitor, and adapt personalized care plans as the patient advocate.
• Serve as central hub of the clinical team to coordinate care across disciplines.
• Translate physician and nursing orders into safe, high-quality actions.
• Coordinate thoughtful discharge plans with the healthcare team and patients.

• Implement, monitor, and adapt personalized care plans, acting as the primary advocate for your patients by communicating critical condition changes in real-time.
• Serve as the central hub of the clinical team, harmonizing efforts across multiple disciplines to ensure a seamless, well-coordinated healthcare journey.
• Expertly translate physician and nursing orders into high-quality clinical actions, ensuring safety and accuracy are at the forefront of everything you do.
• Expertly guide patients beyond our walls as you collaborate with the healthcare team to assess and coordinate thoughtful, comprehensive discharge plans.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Kansas Board of Nursing required.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
