Job summary

Ascension in Milwaukee is seeking a Night Shift Nurse Manager for St. Francis. You’ll assign, direct, educate and monitor nursing and support staff, ensuring safe, population-appropriate patient care during your shift.

You’ll assess daily needs, develop assignments, evaluate outcomes, and address patient care concerns. RN licensure in Wisconsin and BLS are required, with 1 year of nursing experience; ICU/ED exp preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required (Wisconsin) prior to hire or transfer.
• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire; American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Additional Preferences

• 36 hours a week | 7 PM - 7:30 AM
• 2+ years of nursing experience in ICU and ED
