Ascension in Racine, WI is seeking a Registered Nurse for the All Saints Hospital Float Pool on the Day Shift. This full-time role delivers compassionate patient care within established protocols and collaborates across departments.

You will document progress, communicate updates to the multidisciplinary team, and promptly execute orders to keep treatment plans advancing safely. BLS and RN licensure required; PALS preferred.

Formación

• BLS Provider within 30 days of hire date or transfer date.
• RN credential issued by Wisconsin Board of Nursing, active or multi-state license.
• PALS preferred; ACLS/other certifications acceptable.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Deliver compassionate, high-quality direct patient care that strictly adheres to established, patient-first best practices and organizational protocols.
• Coordinate patient services across all clinical disciplines, acting as the primary liaison to guarantee seamless and well-integrated care for optimal patient outcomes.
• Manage the patient's comprehensive care journey, meticulously documenting progress and communicating critical status updates to the multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and safety of care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately and promptly to ensure the timely advancement of patient treatment plans.

Licensure/Certification/Registration

What minimum requirements you’ll need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
