Premise Health is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager in Richmond, VA. The role blends clinical care and administrative leadership, overseeing staff, operations, and compliance for the health center.

Qualifications

• Current license as RN in state of practice.
• Hands-on BLS/AHA or ARC training; ACLS may be required by contract scope.
• COHN/COHN-S, Emergency Nursing or Case Management certification preferred.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical field.
• 2-3 years of management experience.
• Experience with Infection Prevention standards (CDC/WHO/APIC).

Responsibilities

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance.
• Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (RNs, LPNs, admin, tech).
• Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed.
• Monitors patient flow, utilization and penetration.
• Identifies process improvement opportunities and root-cause analyses.
• Serves as infection control lead and collaborates on quality initiatives.
• Communicates policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives.
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and resolutions.
• Maintains patient health records and ensures accuracy.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

As a Full Time Registered Nurse, Health Center Manager, you'll provide care to client employees in our Health Center located in Richmond, VA. The scheduled hours are 40 hours per week, Monday-Thursday, 7:30am-5:30pm and Friday, 8am-12pm. This is a dual clinical and administrative role. Previous primary care experience a plus.

What You’ll Do

• Manages daily operations, staff, and workflow to ensure efficient health center performance
• Oversees hiring, training, onboarding, and performance management of staff (typically composed of RNs, LPNs, administrative, and technical staff)
• Allocates time to patient care and technical expertise as needed
• Monitors patient flow, patient utilization and penetration
• Identifies process improvement opportunities, workflow efficiencies, determines root cause analysis
• Serves as infection control lead, collaborates on quality initiatives and maintains compliance with regulations
• Communicates corporate policies, conducts meetings, and engages with client representatives
• Completes incident reports and assists with investigations and complaint resolutions
• Maintains patient health records to ensure accurate and up-to-date records
• Performs other duties as assigned

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
• Current license as RN in state of practice
• Current certification with hands-on training in AHA, ARC or equivalent Basic Life Support for health care providers is required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support may also be required based on contract scope of services
• Certification in Occupational Health Nursing (COHN/COHN-S), Emergency Nursing, or Case Management preferred and may be required for some sites
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in the medical field
• 2 - 3 years of management experience
• Experience accessing CDC, WHO, APIC or other industry standards for Infection Prevention practices
