Job summary

St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Connecticut is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care Monday through Friday, with alternating long shifts. This role offers comprehensive benefits and opportunities to grow within a Magnet-designated hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
• Current Connecticut RN license.
• BLS certification by the American Heart Association.
• Associate degree required; BSN preferred.
• Strong knowledge of cardiology.
• Excellent assessment and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements and monitors patient care plans.
• Coordinates discharge planning with the health care team.
• Delegates care to nursing staff as appropriate.
• Participates in daily interdisciplinary patient rounds.
• Provides direct nursing care per policies and protocols.
