PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit. Under the Nurse Manager's direction, the RN plans, coordinates and teaches patients and families for post-hospital recovery.

Qualified candidates hold RN licensure in the state or a compact license, current BLS, and ACLS certification (ACLS required for Charge Nurses).

Qualifications

• RN licensure in state or compact licensure.
• BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days; ACLS needed for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care using the nursing process on the medical-surgical unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Perform other duties as assigned; Charge Nurse role requires ACLS.
