PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and coordinate care for medically complex and critically ill patients in an acute care setting. You will work under the direction of nursing leadership and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement individualized care plans.

The role requires current RN licensure, BLS, and ACLS certification within specified timelines; inpatient medical-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides (or compact licensure).
• BLS certification required. ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment. ACLS required for Charge Nurses.

Responsabilités

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the unit.
• Provide direct patient care to medically complex and critically ill patients.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to create and carry out individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, discharge planning, and community resources.
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced wound care per physician orders.
• Manage complex comorbidities such as sepsis, cardiac issues, strokes, and post-surgery recovery.
• May perform other related duties including Charge Nurse (ACLS required).
