Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise high-quality patient care on the nursing unit. Under the guidance of nursing leadership, you will execute the nursing process, coordinate care plans, and educate patients and families for post-hospital recovery.

The role requires an active RN license and BLS; ACLS is required within 90 days. ACLS is also needed for Charge Nurses.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state where the hospital resides (or compact licensure).
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment (ACLS for Charge Nurses).

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process; coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning; provide patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization; access community resources and assist with charge nurse duties as needed.
