Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit under leadership from the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing or Charge Nurse. The ideal candidate will hold an RN license in the state, current BLS, and ACLS certification.

ACLS is required from day 1 for Charge Nurses, High-Obs, and ICU.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state you are applying
• Current BLS certification
• ACLS certification required (ACLS is REQUIRED from day 1 for all Charge Nurses, High Obs, and ICU)

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care using the nursing process on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse role when ACLS credentials are satisfied and ACLS certification is maintained.
