Job summary

PAM Health Specialty and Rehabilitation Hospital of Covington is hiring an Registered Nurse to provide and supervise patient care. Under supervision from Nursing leadership, you will plan, coordinate, and deliver care to patients in the unit, including discharge planning and family teaching for post-hospitalization.

Current RN licensure in the state or compact license is required along with BLS; ACLS is required within 90 days of employment and must be AHA approved.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise nursing care to patients on the unit.
• Coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family education for post-hospitalization.
• Access community resources as part of care planning; may perform Charge Nurse duties as needed (ACLS required).
