Job summary

PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse in Dayton, OH to deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process. Under supervision, you will plan, coordinate, and supervise care for patients admitted to the unit, including discharge planning and family teaching.

The role requires an active RN license in the state (or compact licensure), current BLS, and ACLS within 90 days of employment; ACLS is required for Charge Nurses. One year of inpatient med-surgical experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment; ACA/HCA approved within 90 days.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and supervise patient care using the nursing process.
• Plan and coordinate care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary care and access community resources.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties and ACLS certification as required.
