PAM Health Specialty Hospital of Dayton in Miamisburg, OH is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide and supervise patient care using the nursing process. You will participate in discharge planning, patient and family teaching, and coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams.

Requires state RN licensure and BLS; ACLS within 90 days. Opportunity to grow within a large multi-location system, with strong benefits and referral bonuses for successful hires.

Qualifications

• Holds a current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if state participates.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
• Current ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
• One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager or Charge Nurse, the RN delivers, directs and supervises care to patients admitted to the nursing unit.
• Plans, coordinates and provides patient care including discharge planning and teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform other related duties as assigned, including Charge Nurse responsibilities (ACLS preferred).
