Job summary

Oklahoma City Rehabilitation Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse to provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. The RN collaborates with patients, families and interdisciplinary staff to develop care plans and communicates changes in condition to physicians and supervisors.

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross; online certification not acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process: assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation.
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as needed.
• Communicate changes in patient’s clinical condition with physicians, nursing supervisor/manager and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participate in discharge planning.
