Job summary

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Day shift in our new Tampa facility. The role focuses on planning and delivering patient care within an interdisciplinary team in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.

The RN will assess patient needs, develop care plans, and coordinate with physicians, nursing leadership, and family members. Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process.

Florida Rehabilitation Hospital at Tampa located at Woodstork and Temple Terrace is opening February 2025. Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 60 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

Position Summary

Provides planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation. Develops nursing care plan in coordination with patient, family and interdisciplinary staff as necessary. Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate. Participates in discharge planning process.
Pay: Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications

• Current state licensure as an Registered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is not acceptable
