Job summary

Pinellas County Rehabilitation Hospital is hiring a registered nurse to provide planning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process. You will develop care plans in coordination with patients, families, and the interprofessional team, and communicate changes in clinical status to physicians and leadership.

Qualifications

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross.
• Inpatient rehabilitation experience.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (Assessment, Planning, Intervention, and Evaluation).
• Develop nursing care plans in coordination with patient, family, and interdisciplinary staff as necessary.
• Communicate changes in patient condition with physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers as appropriate.
• Participate in discharge planning processes.

Pinellas County Rehabilitation Hospital opened May 2026! Join our team to work in a beautiful new hospital with 36 private patient rooms and 2 rehab therapy gyms with cutting-edge technology.

Position Summary:

Providesplanning and delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process of Assessment, Planning, Intervention, andEvaluation. Develops nursing careplanin coordination withpatient,familyand interdisciplinarystaffas necessary. Communicates changes in patient’s clinical condition with Physicians, Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and co-workers asappropriate. Participates indischargeplanning process.

Pay:

Rate of pay is based on years of experience and qualifications.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Current state licensure asanRegistered Nurse
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained from the American Heart Association and/or American Red Cross. Online certification is notacceptable

DesiredExperience:

• Inpatient rehabilitation experience
