Job summary

Mental Health Association of Rochester seeks a Registered Nurse for travel assignments across diverse healthcare settings. You will provide direct patient care, collaborating with physicians to develop care plans, and support patients through prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

Weekly pay with stipends and comprehensive benefits such as health, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k), and generous time off. Typical contracts are 14 weeks with options to extend or transfer.

Qualifications

• RN license in practice state or mobility if allowed.
• 1+ year of nursing experience and 6 months of travel nursing experience.
• Residence within 60 miles of assigned facility.
• Competencies and certifications as required by facilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver personalized patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and evaluate care plans.
• Provide care across all phases: prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up.
• Plan and coordinate patient care, conduct assessments, deliver education, triage, and nursing interventions.
• Adhere to nursing standards, regulations, and ethical guidelines.

• Utilizing the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver personalized patient care.

Qualifications Include

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing is preferred.
• Unencumbered RN license in the practice state or multistate licensure if available.
• At least one year of nursing experience and six months of travel nursing experience.
• Residing at least 60 miles from the assigned facility.
• Ability to obtain and maintain necessary competencies and certifications.
