Job summary

Apex Home Health, Hospice & Home Care is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for travel assignments to serve underserved communities. You will utilize the nursing process to deliver personalized patient care across all care phases, including prevention, health maintenance, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up.

You will collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure care is delivered within the full scope of nursing practice.

Qualifications

• One year of nursing experience with at least six months of travel experience.
• RN licensed and in good standing, or multi-state license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care using the nursing process across all care phases (assessment to follow-up).
• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to plan and evaluate patient care.
• Perform patient assessment, education, triage, and various nursing interventions.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.


• Current unencumbered RN license in the state of practice or multistate licensure if applicable.


• At least one year of nursing experience with a minimum of six months of travel experience.


• Reside at least 60 miles from the assigned facility.

Additional details:

This role offers weekly pay, benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off. Contracts are generally 14 weeks with options for extension or transfer to other sites. Candidates must meet department-specific competencies and certifications, and adhere to professional standards and ethical codes.
