Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Registered Nurse for Saint Joseph's Hospital in Milwaukee, WI. This full-time day-shift Float Pool role focuses on implementing and monitoring patient care plans and coordinating care across disciplines.

You will note and carry out physician and nursing orders, assess patient needs with the healthcare team, and ensure well-coordinated care.

Qualifications

• RN licensure required.
• BLS Provider certification within 30 days of hire.
• ALS certification preferred.
• PALS certification preferred.

How you’ll make an impact in this role

• Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records and communicates patient condition as appropriate.

• Assesses and coordinates patient's care needs with members of the healthcare team.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• Required Credential(s):

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Registered Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.

• Preferred Credential(s):

• Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

• Approved Local Exception. For use with unique Union job requirements only. Remove if not for Union.

• Pediatric Advanced Life Support. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required. OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
