Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state of employment
• BLS certification required before patient contact
• ACLS within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas
• Unit-specific certifications may be required
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation

Responsibilities

• Assess patients and collaborate with the healthcare team to evaluate needs
• Develop personalized care plans prioritizing patient goals
• Deliver evidence-based patient care and educate patients and families
• Evaluate outcomes and adjust care based on results and best practices
• Drive performance improvement initiatives with the Clinical Manager
• Promote High Reliability principles to improve care and efficiency
• Lead, mentor, and delegate while managing patient care
• Document the nursing process, plan of care, education, and responses in EMR
• Maintain compliance with policies and required training
