You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, deliver evidence-based care, document in the EMR, and participate in improvement initiatives while adhering to hospital policies.

Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in the state of employment.
• BLS required before patient contact.
• ACLS required within 6 months for step-down and ICU areas.
• Unit-specific certifications may be required.
• Commitment to continuous learning and accurate EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients: Evaluate physical, emotional, and educational needs with the healthcare team.
• Develop care plans with patients and families, prioritizing needs and goals.
• Deliver patient care: Provide evidence-based care and educate patients and families.
• Document care: Accurately document the nursing process and updates in the EMR.
• Maintain compliance: Follow policies and complete required training.
