Job summary

PAM Health Aiken is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct, and supervise patient care on a busy medical-surgical unit. The RN will coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, and post-hospitalization teaching for patients and families.

Qualified candidates hold current RN licensure in the state (or compactlicensure), BLS certification, and ACLS within 90 days. Inpatient experience is preferred and opportunities for growth are highlighted.

Qualifications

• RN licensure in the state where hospital resides (or compact licensure).
• Current BLS certification required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment (ACLS for Charge Nurses).
• One year inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning and discharge planning.
• Provide patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization and community resources.
• May serve as Charge Nurse with ACLS as required.
