Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit under Nursing leadership.

Applicants must hold an active RN license in the state, BLS, ACLS within 90 days (ACLS required for Charge Nurses); inpatient med-surg experience preferred but not required. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides, or a compact license if applicable.
• Current BLS certification is required; ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment; ACLS must be AHA approved within 90 days.
• ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients on the nursing unit using the nursing process.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties as assigned or requested (ACLS certification required).
