Qualifications

• Current licensure as a registered nurse (RN) in the state where the hospital resides or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Evidence of ACLS certification is required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to deliver, direct and supervise care to patients admitted to the unit.
• Plan, coordinate, and provide patient care including discharge planning and family teaching.
