Job summary

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state where the hospital resides (Texas).
• BLS certification required; ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the nursing unit using the nursing process.
• Coordinate interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning and patient teaching.
• Assume Charge Nurse responsibilities as assigned with ACLS readiness.
