Job summary

PAM Health Specialty Hospital of San Antonio is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week internal assignment in San Antonio. Under direction of Nursing leadership, you will deliver, direct and supervise patient care on the medical-surgical unit, coordinate discharge planning, and provide patient and family teaching for post-hospital care.

Requirements include an active RN license in the relevant state (compact licensure acceptable), current BLS, ACLS within 90 days, and ACLS

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver, direct and supervise care to patients on the nursing unit.
• Plan, coordinate and provide patient care including discharge planning and patient/family teaching for post-hospitalization.
• May perform Charge Nurse duties; ACLS certification required for Charge Nurses.
