Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with multi-state compact or single-state privileges.
• BLS certification.
• BSN degree preferred.
• Proficiency with EHRs and clinical software.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, and collaborates with the care team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and evaluates outcomes to take action.
• Administers medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates effective communication and appropriate delegation.
