Job summary

You will maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records, support a culture of safety, and may float to other units as needed to meet patient care needs in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice where services are provided; BLS certification.
• Telehealth/tele-nursing requires licensure in the client location state(s).

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils, governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices.
• Uses the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care; engages patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitors patient conditions, adjusts care plans, mobilizes resources, and collaborates with the care team to influence outcomes.
• Upholds and promotes a culture of safety.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units or facilities within the service area as needed.
