Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where care is provided.
• BLS certification.
• Potential telehealth/tele nursing licensure requirements in applicable states.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care.
• Engage patients and families through the continuum of care.
• Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans.
• Maintain accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units as needed.
• Delegate appropriately to RNs, LPNs, and UAPs.
• Promote safety and adhere to ethics and professional standards.
