Qualifications

• Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
• Active RN license with privileges in the state(s) where services are provided.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; telehealth licensing may apply.
• Typically requires 1 year of clinical nursing experience.
• Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills; IT literacy.

Responsibilities

• Engages in unit councils and quality initiatives to improve care processes.
• Utilizes nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate care.
• Monitors patient conditions and adjusts care plans with the team.
• Upholds a culture of safety and ethical decision-making.
• May administer medications and therapies per protocols.
• Maintains accurate, timely EHR documentation.
• May float to other units to meet patient care needs.
• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development to provide age-appropriate care.
