Job summary

Indiana University Health System is seeking a registered nurse (RN) to provide and coordinate evidence-based care across the care continuum. The role emphasizes assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation, with collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.

The RN will participate in decision-making, teaching, and mentoring to advance the patient plan of care while upholding ANA standards and the organization’s ethics and compliance policies.

Qualifications

• ASN or BSN required; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions may apply with >2 years of acute care experience (CNO review).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; additional Life Support certifications may be needed per unit.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate evidence-based nursing care across the patient care continuum: assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
• Advance the patient plan of care and contribute to operational efficiency.
• Adhere to ANA Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Nurses.
