Job summary

Indiana University Health System is actively seeking a Clinical Nurse to provide and coordinate evidence-based care across the patient care continuum in a hospital setting. The RN will work with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality outcomes and patient safety.

The role requires an active Indiana RN license or NLC, an ASN in Nursing, with BSN preferred, and BLS certification. Graduates from nationally accredited programs are expected, with exceptions for those with >2 years of acute

Qualifications

• Requires active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• ASN required; BSN preferred.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; exceptions for >2 years acute care experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through the AHA; other advanced life support certifications may be required per unit/department.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate competent, evidence-based care along the care continuum (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Participate in decision-making, teaching, mentoring, and collaboration with the multidisciplinary team to advance the patient plan of care and enhance operational efficiency.
• Adhere to ANA Scope and Standards of Professional Nursing and the Code of Ethics for Nurses with Interpretive Statements.
