BayCare Health System in Wesley Chapel, FL, is seeking a Registered Nurse for ER Nights at Wesley Chapel Hospital. The role requires an RN license, a nursing degree (Diploma/Associate/Bachelor or higher), and 1 year of ER experience, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.

The position is full-time, in-person, with a night shift and no on-call duties. Responsibilities include patient care using the nursing process, coordinating with the care team, updating care plans with patients and families,

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients in a hospital setting using the nursing process and clinical standards
• Delegate appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• Organize and update plan of care in collaboration with patients, family and significant others
• Identify patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepare room environment
• Monitor, record, and update care team on patient vitals and assessments
• Identify sudden or subtle changes in a patient’s medical condition
• Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients
• Exhibit high emotional intelligence to create a positive patient care experience

• Status: Full Time

• Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:5 AM

• Every Other Weekend

• On Call: No

Requirements:

• RN (Registered Nurse) License

• Diploma, Associate’s, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing

• 1-year registered nurse ER experience

• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association

• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association

• PALS certification with the American Heart Association
