Job summary

BayCare Health System in New Port Richey, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the ER. The role requires an active RN license and at least 1 year of ER experience. Join a team delivering compassionate, evidence-based care in a fast-paced environment.

You will work a 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM shift, with every other weekend requirements, and no on-call duties. Benefits include comprehensive health plans, retirement matching, PTO, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• RN license is required to practice.
• Diploma/AA/BSN or higher in Nursing.
• 1 year ER nursing experience.
• BLS certification from ARC or AHA.
• ACLS certification from AHA.

Responsibilities

• Care for a group of patients in a hospital setting using nursing process and standards.
• Delegate patient care activities to health care team members.
• Organize and prioritize care plans with patient and family.
• Monitor vitals and assessments and report changes to the care team.
• Respond to medical emergencies for critical patients.

Requirements

• RN (Registered Nurse) License
• Diploma, Associate's, Bachelor's or Higher in Nursing
• 1-year registered nurse ER experience
• BLS certification with the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
• ACLS certification with the American Heart Association
• PALS certification with the American Heart Association
