Job summary

Ascension is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for the Endoscopy GI department at All Saints Hospital in Racine, WI. This full-time, day-shift position supports comprehensive patient care, order execution, and smooth discharge planning, ensuring safe, high-quality outcomes.

The role requires Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS, with a focus on precise documentation and collaborative care across clinical disciplines in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire (AHA or Red Cross accepted).
• Registered Nurse credentialed by Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current multi-state/Compact state license.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care following established best practices and protocols.
• Document patient progress and communicate status updates to the multidisciplinary team.
• Coordinate patient services across clinical disciplines as liaison for integrated care.
• Execute physician and nursing orders accurately to advance treatment plans.
• Facilitate discharge planning with the healthcare team for safe home transitions.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
