Job summary

Ascension seeks a Registered Nurse for the Surgical Stepdown unit at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital in Brookfield, WI. This full-time, day-shift role provides coordinated, high-quality patient care and discharges planning in a collaborative healthcare environment.

You will implement care plans, monitor patient status, and coordinate with multiple disciplines to ensure smooth care transitions. A valid Wisconsin RN licensure and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing or current multi-state license.

• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensure from the Wisconsin Board of Nursing OR current home state license if considered multi-state/Compact State.

Education

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire required.
